5 am club- Day 1

The title might be misleading because I actually woke up at 6 am but it’s okay because it’s only the first morning of many beautiful mornings to come. Here is why I believe in the 5 am club:

1- it’s the only time with least distractions

2- legends are either waking up or going to sleep at this time

3- it’s like a kickstart to your day. How can you possibly have a bad day with such a kickass morning?

4- you get to learn something new every morning. For instance I listen to podcast and read a book so that is new learning EVERY.SINGLE.DAY!

So who is or would like to be a part of the awesome 5 am club?

      1. On a typical morning, I wake up at 10:30 am. On a typical day, I spend at least half an hour on IG and 2 hours scrolling thru my phone. It’s such a waste of time. I quit IG tonight so I’ll see how that goes…. already feeling a bit on edge. There’s so much I’ve been wanting to accomplish so now is a good time to do it! 🤗

      2. We are so similar on so many levels. Not only did I delete instagram, I deleted my Facebook app as well. I mean there’s so much to do and these apps act as huge barriers. Feeling so free now😊

      3. I haven’t used FB since 2016 and haven’t looked back. I returned to IG for a couple of months to post IG stories (the CBT therapist encouraged anything fun) and it was fun at the time, but then I came to terms with the fact that it was purely ego driven. Now I really don’t know what anyone from my past is doing anymore. And maybe I’m not supposed to know…

A family friend just had her 3rd kid in a matter of 3 years which made me feel inadequate, stuck in life, and jealous, so my husband told me to delete IG to focus on my priorities. Feeling free is a great way to describe the feeling of not being tied down to social media apps, and the emotional turmoil that accompanies it. 🙏🏻💜
